The Day That Changed the World

Eight years have come and gone since 9/11. Eight years ago the world stood still and all eyes were focused on America. Like all those old enough to remember, I can tell you where I was on that fateful day. I had just come home from work when my dad told me that a plane had crashed into the World Trade Center. For those first few minutes it seemed as if it was just another terrible plane crash. But then the second plane crashed into the second tower and my heart just froze. It was then that I knew that something more sinister was going on. We all know the story and have heard countless tales of tragedy and bravery. Our thoughts are still with those that faced personal loss. This post is to commemorate those that paid the price for terrorism. This post is to make sure that we will never forget.

    I still don't have a replacement monitor .
We are making do for the moment.
I take my husband to work and pick him up again so I can use the computer at his work some, and the public Library .
We also found an old monitor that was going to be thrown in the trash and to our suprise hubby was able to find a cord for it and get it working for the moment.
I forgot how large and heavy the old monitors were .
It has some problems and is 20 years old and the screen looks really strange as it is going out but for the moment it allows us to use the computer at home again !!!!! Yipee .
Blessings of joy and peace to you .
Thank you for not giving up on me.
I will still be a little hit or miss with my post as life has suddenly become filled with
a really long to do list that can no longer wait .
    Such is life.
Thank you again for being so faithful to stop by and check in .
    Hugs from Texas
    Happy Trails
