Situated in Millenium Park (Chicago), Cloud Gate, or as it is more popularly know, the Bean, is art with a purpose. This huge elliptical structure mirrors the city’s unique skyline.
I found it tremendously fascinating and it provided many photo opportunities. This is the reflection on the inside of the bean. All those little things that look like insects are actually people.
I thought this piece of art would be a perfect subject for James’ Weekend Reflections.
That's fantastic! How fun and different! And what terrific reflections!! Love it! Have a lovely weekend!

ReplyDeleteWow what an impressive "bean" and of course the very good reflections in it.
ReplyDeleteIt must be quiet new because in the 90th I didn't see or heard about it when we were in Chicago.
I love it! It reminds me of my favorite Jeff Koons piece of his "cracked egg" and how it reflects so beautifully.

Wonderful reflections!
