Every year at the beginning of March, as if on cue from an invisible conductor, our daffodils flower.
From buds gently enfolding their secrets
They slowly unfurl into golden trumpets
Heralding the start of Spring.
And from their innermost heart comes the whisper of a promise :
That warmth and sunshine will soon be on their way.

Beautiful. I miss daffodils - we used to have them blooming along our driveway in the springtime, along with narcissus. Sadly, they don't bloom in Florida... so I must feed my hunger for them through lovely photos like yours!
