Something To Make You Smile

I really wanted to write something interesting or meaningful or witty today. But I feel like a deflated balloon. It wasn’t a bad day. It was just a very long, intense day. So, I can decide to sit and sulk because I am feeling tired and dejected. Or I can choose to take life with a pinch of salt.

I wish you all a wonderful weekend and trust that you will all find something to smile about. In the meantime I will try to calm my nerves as the  Mischief Maker gets ready for his first day of real school.

  1. I hope the thought of the upcoming weekend will make you feel much better Loree...as to your young Mischief Maker, I'm sure he'll have loads to relate when he comes home from his first day of school : ) Remember this is what makes memories that you'll cherish always...as to taking life with a pinch of salt, I think you are on the right path there although sometimes it seems we need a little more than just a pinch : )

  3. Once the kiddos go back to school, the whole routine becomes transformed. I'm certain the restless and/or tired, keyed-up feeling you have now will diminish after the first 'real' day back.

    Have a beautiful weekend, Loree.

  8. Hi Loree,
So nice of you to leave me a comment, I just now see your blog, it's lovely! Did you know that Melissa from Miss Sew and So is now vacationing in Malta? I really applaud your post about women, eating and the media, well written!

  9. Oh we know that feeling. My son is taking this web design class. We are learning how to write "code". The class in online and the teacher is terrible at answering our questions. This feeling of "dread" comes over me when we sit down and tackle the details of the next assignment. I too am feeling joyous at dusk when the books are all whisked away ...
