Reflections in a Pond

Tuscany 418
I suppose that prior to starting blogging I would have passed by this scene without giving it more than a glance. But these days, every picture that I take can lead to some form of inspiration. Sometimes it’s all about the big  picture. Other times, it’s all about the details. This is one of the first photos I took on our arrival in Siena. It’s simply the reflection of some windows in a shallow pond of water – just a brief glimpse of the beauty that I would soon feast my eyes on and perfect for Weekend Reflections.

  3. You know I have the same process you do. I would have never looked twice at areas that now all I'm doing is looking for photos to take. Isn't it funny how our worlds change. And to come up with such a beautiful photo as this. I love the little ripples in the water. Well done my friend. Have a great weekend :)

  6. You say "simply a reflection", well there is nothing simple about this, except maybe "simply lovely", and "simply perfect".

  9. I love staring at reflections. Contemplating. Wondering. Even spacing out. One can see a totally different perspective of our world and the people and events in it.

  14. It's a beautiful picture! I'm just starting to look more carefully at the details of the world around me. Before my husband says I would have missed seeing a pink elephant walk down the street. LOL
