We made it – to Missouri and back. Now it’s back to the normal routine – after we recover from our jet-lag. It seems to be taking a bit longer this time. We had a wonderful time except that the much-longed for snow never made it to our area. Apart from that it was a relaxing and fun-filled vacation. In due course I will be sharing more about our little adventures.
In the meantime I would like to wish you all a very happy new year and I would also like to thank you for taking the time to stop by, read and comment. Your visits keep this blog alive. I have missed visiting your blogs and can’t wait to drop by and see what you’ve all been up to. I think that by tomorrow I should be sufficiently recovered to be able to ‘do the rounds’.
welcome back loree - hoping your travels went well and your holidays were lovely. looking forward to more posts about your time in the u.s. - snow or no snow!

Glad you're back home, safe and sound, and recovering. Traveling can take a lot out of you..
ReplyDeleteYou were in Missouri!! I was wondering where you went off to. How funny, we were supposed to drive up to Missouri but we ended up staying here in Texas. I hope you had a wonderful holiday and that all of the traveling went well. Welcome home and Happy New Year
ReplyDeleteWelcome back Loree!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you too!
Sue.
How nice that you are back ! I wondered already where you were ! This year it's quiet a warm winter everywhere were it should be cold ! We have the warmest winter since 1873 !!!, plants start to bloom, it's all upside down ! We have around 11/12°C !! That nearly like in summer !
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, Loree!
ReplyDeleteI cannot wait for your new pictures! :-)
Stay safe and till later.
I hope you had a lovely trip! No snow here, in fact, we had a couple of days of 70 degree temps last week. My dad says we're going to have snow later in the month and next. At this point, I fine without it... looking forward to spring.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a beautiful New Year! xoxo, B
so glad you had a lovely time and made it back safely... but sorry the longed-for snow never materialized. the winter weather in the US has been strange this year!
ReplyDeletewishing you and your family a bright and happy new year.

Glad you're back home! Happy new year, dear Loree -- here we go for the next round in 2012!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you made it home. Sorry you missed the snow. I can't speak for Missouri but here in central Indiana we now have an inch or two and bitter cold. Your image with this post looks like it could have been taken where we live in Indiana. ;-)
